Took my 2011 A7 into CAT for a DPF assessment and then they fitted in a stage 1 remap which was really good of them. They done a fantastic job, car is performing like never before. Now pushing out 310bhp and so smooth and responsive. MPG has also improved from average 36 to 42 which was nice bonus. Be going back for servicing and all future work.

I have been been bugging Clive for weeks trying to to find the cause of the bad hot starting on my 1988 Land Rover V8. Every time I took it to him the fault wouldn't appear untill one day it and he guided me to an electrical fault. He was right as usual. I had a new distributor fitted today and problem solved. Many thanks Clive for your patience. Highly recommended.

My VW T5 had a dpf fault and it was booked in to have diagnosis done by CAT. From start to finish Clive was very informative, with a clear concise description of works undertaken. A very professional outfit and even managed to get the van MOT test done for me. Highly recommended.

I recently had an Astra 2.0 cdti remapped here. The team worked hard to deliver the results I was hoping for. The first attempt didn't quite deliver the performance expectation I had so we talked it through and they gave it another go - gratis!The car now drives wonderfully, exactly what I was after. Notable increase in performance about 25% on readouts. MPG also increase by 3mpg which was a welcome surprise !I'll definitely be a returning customer if or when I change vehicle.

I've used CAT for a remap, discs and pads, a caliper replacement and fluid change and the car goes and stops better than before the work, so it's hard to fault that!

I own a 2012 Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDi, and I wanted to have the ECU software rolled back to how it was prior to the dreaded emissions fix. I tried one 'tuner' who didn't have the original files, and after asking around I was recommended to use Clive Atthorne of CAT Automotive.I called him and was pleased by the really professional response. The car was therefore booked in and this afternoon I collected it. I am 100% pleased with the job and the way I have been treated. The car now runs beautifully after a software rollback and a Stage 1 remap. There is a huge increase in torque and the engine's response to the throttle is now like that of a petrol vehicle.Clive is not one of these 'tuners' who plays about with a laptop on your drive. He has immaculate premises and a dyno that takes 4x4 vehicles. I am very much of the opinion that you get what you pay for when you take your car to him.

Brilliant experience had the pops and bangs removed they done revo stage 2 added a new fuel pump and cleaned the inlet valves from what experience ive had these people are the best to go to if you have any engine problems car picks up nicely and is very precise really happy with the work Dale carried out on my Vehicle would highley recommend this company cant explain that clearer than this.

I've used CAT for servicing and repairs in the past, but last week was my first software upgrade. Revo stage 1 on my Seat Leon FR. 58bhp and 75lbft gains, and as far as I can tell, no loss of useability or lower economy. Car is now quicker everywhere in the rev range, but remains as smooth and as everyday useable as before.I'd recommend it to anyone with a 2.0 TFSI engine. Clive and his staff really know what they're doing too, very professional. Cheers lads.
