My friend recommended me to go to this garage, but my car problem was not solved. Did the work but didn't find the focus.The following was updated on 11 FebruaryI can confirm that your garage has replaced the Haldex oil for my car and cleaned the Pump, but the reason I came to your garage is because of the error code of this Pump for Haldex Clutch, C1112 04 [008], not because my Haldex service has expired.At first this C11204 error code was read by OBD2 and they scanned the same error code after I visited the Volkswagen dealership in Norwich and asked to check the car (I had already fed this information back to you when I first visited the garage). I gave my car to your garage on the morning of December 14th. You scanned my car with VCDS and got exactly the same error code.Against this background, I have booked the Halxdex oil replacement in your garage on December 14th and checked whether the Haldex pump works. When the service was done Dale Lawson showed me my old Haldex oli. The oil was very clean and he showed a photo he had taken of the Haldex pump when it was removed. The photo showed that my pump had no glue on the strainer. When I asked my question "What was blocking the operation of the pump when the oil was clean and the strainer was not blocked", Dale Lawson replied "the pump was working, it was fine". Then I asked the second question, "What should I do if the error code comes up again?" Dale Lawson's lighthearted answer "Then change the Haldex pump"When I scanned the car again that night, I got the same error code. I was totally disappointed. After that I visited your garage and Dale Lawson was not surprised that my car had the same error code again and without further inspection he said he would replace the pump to solve the problem. The next step will be Haldex Controller ECU if you cannot solve it. And I distinctly remember him telling me that the Haldex pump on the car was fine and working.Finally, I would like to reiterate that my reason for visiting your garage is not to seek Haldex oil replacement service. It was because my car was throwing error codes and I wanted to talk directly to the garage to diagnose and resolve the error. To check whether the Haldex pump is working properly, the solution provided by the garage is to perform Haldex service. Visually inspect the pump and pump strainer while the Haldex oil is being replaced. If the pump strainer is clean and the oil is free of impurities, the ohm resistance between the terminals can be measured or a 12v power supply can be applied directly to the pump motor to test whether the pump is working properly. You and I both know that the point of doing this service with my car is to check that the Haldex pump is working properly, not to change the oil.You did not find out if the pump worked properly during the first Haldex service. We paid for labor and oil and wasted a whole morning. In the subsequent phone conversation, you said that you did not conduct a comprehensive check on the pump, but I clearly remember that your colleague told me that my pump was normal.This is only my true personal experience, and I admit that you are way ahead of your competitors in other areas. But you still lost me as an ordinary customer.

Just had an RTS twin friction clutch put in my S3. Cannot recommend these guys enough, from start to finish they were transparent with me and walked me through everything they did. Payed £1600 in the end which is great as i was being quoted 2-2.5k at other garages.

I took my 1961 Volvo Amazon to CAT with a carb problem today and Clive went more than the extra mile to resolve it, he altered the needle valve by trial and error to rectify the fault, excellent! Great bloke, great company highly recommend them

Took my vehicle in for checks due to “boost pressure” “MAFS” and a couple of other bits including the DPF.A couple of days later and £659 lighter and it’s all done, the chap even showed me the faulty boost pipe that was causing limp mode.These things are expensive but my vehicle is back to earning me money again.Highly recommend these chaps.

I have just had my Audi rsq3 serviced which was a major one. Plugs, filters, gearbox and axle oils, coolant all flushed out and replaced, new rear pads fitted after they called to let me know they needed doing. Customer service is first class, will be returning for all my rsq3 needs in the future.

Having spent a lot of time and money trying to identify and fix the DPF fault on my Hyundai over the last 6 months, I decided to try CAT. They were polite and helpful from the first, giving me a very detailed explanation of the fault, and helpful suggested courses of action I could take. I decided to go with a full replacement DPF, and have just holidayed in Wales without the depressing DPF or engine light coming on. Thank you CAT!Can't ask for better service or advice.

I have always previously used the dealership, but I have been dissapointed in the past.My Audi A3 was due for a service, so decided to have it done at Clive Atthowe Tuning Norwich. I am very pleased not only was everything that had been done to my car been explained to me, but also was given a full printed breakdown of what had been done, and the costs of each part and labour cost.Very professional service by Clive Atthowe Tuning.

Great customer service as always going the extra mile, they found accident damage on a car I just brought, I was completely unaware as wasn't sold knowing that, because of there keen eye I got a full refund for the car and have since brought another car had it inspected and a major service with them. Has an s3 in for haldex, dsg and major service, now got an s5, I won't be taking it anywhere else, CAT know what they're doing when it comes to the VAGs

Completely wasted my time, after various emails and going in to see them face to face regarding custom tuning, they guided me on tuning parts and even insisted on some specific brand parts, and always gave the impression they can custom tune, only to spend 2k on parts to then be told they cannot do custom tuning, a month of my time down the drain, I now have to start all over again finding another tuner who can do custom tuning.Be honest with people from start

Excellent service, can’t recommend enough. Took our B7 RS4 to CAT with an intermittent engine miss fault the previous owners had been unable to trace despite taking it to different specialists. CAT Automotive traced it with ease, and it was a low cost fix. Has run beautifully since. Just had it serviced with them and am very happy it’s had a more thorough inspection and service than you get from a main dealer.

Took my 2011 A7 into CAT for a DPF assessment and then they fitted in a stage 1 remap which was really good of them. They done a fantastic job, car is performing like never before. Now pushing out 310bhp and so smooth and responsive. MPG has also improved from average 36 to 42 which was nice bonus. Be going back for servicing and all future work.

I have been been bugging Clive for weeks trying to to find the cause of the bad hot starting on my 1988 Land Rover V8. Every time I took it to him the fault wouldn't appear untill one day it and he guided me to an electrical fault. He was right as usual. I had a new distributor fitted today and problem solved. I recently had an Astra 2.0 cdti remapped here. The team worked hard to deliver the results I was hoping for. The first attempt didn't quite deliver the performance expectation I had so we talked it through and they gave it another go - gratis!The car now drives wonderfully, exactly what I was after. Notable increase in performance about 25% on readouts. MPG also increase by 3mpg which was a welcome surprise !I'll definitely be a returning customer if or when I change vehicle.

I've used CAT for servicing and repairs in the past, but last week was my first software upgrade. Revo stage 1 on my Seat Leon FR. 58bhp and 75lbft gains, and as far as I can tell, no loss of useability or lower economy. Car is now quicker everywhere in the rev range, but remains as smooth and as everyday useable as before.I'd recommend it to anyone with a 2.0 TFSI engine. Clive and his staff really know what they're doing too, very professional. Cheers lads.
